GIVE Aspire Program

The lack of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the technology and media industries adversely impacts underrepresented communities. The data shows that groups from racially diverse backgrounds, lower socioeconomic groups, gender diverse identities, and rural areas face worldwide competition and an unequal playing field. We believe that providing these groups with access to resources and exposure to technical product development and media creation will best equip them to challenge the status quo.

We are determined to positively impact these groups by leveraging our industry connections to facilitate and create real-world change.

#GIVEtoAspire

Through our #GIVEtoAspire initiative, we facilitate donations from technology and media companies to community groups. These donations include resources, such as software, hardware, connectivity, and more. We work with existing, successful groups to further their impact and offerings to the community.

Youth Workforce Development

We partner with existing, successful STEAM programs in the development and maintenance of our digital products and ancillary content. We help them develop relevant skills, garner real-world work experience, and earn income. We seek to support participants beyond our Program.

Initial Partner Organizations

Gameheads: Game Design & App Development

Uses video game creation, which includes game design, UI/UX, coding, audio design, distribution and DevOps, to develop diverse talent, train young people for the tech industry, and prepare them for college, career and civic life.

UR Sq.png

United Roots: Graphics & Video Storytelling

Supports under-resourced youth in personal healing, develops their leadership skills, and teaches media arts through programs and community projects, including Youth Impact Hub, UR Media, and DetermiNation.

Through these programs, we positively impact these under-resourced groups. Without access to technology and training, these groups will remain unable to compete for the skilled jobs in these industries and further perpetuate the perceived pipeline issue. By providing access to opportunities and advancement, we directly challenge the lack of diversity in the technology and media industries.

We plan to expand these programs across the United States and internationally as we create content. If you are interested in learning more, please contact us

The Numbers

Research suggests that diverse teams make smarter and more creative decisions than homogenous teams, leading to better business outcomes. However, the United States technology and media industries are dominated by college educated white men and highly skilled foreign-born workers. Even with recent attention and energy, these demographics remain largely unchanged.
